Phi Eta Psi is pleased to announce its return to Kettering University in Flint, Michigan for its 2013 National Convention to be held August 21-25, 2013. Kettering University was the site of the very successful 2012 Phi Eta Psi National Convention. We are pleased to once again to be hosted by Kettering University for our 2013 National Convention.

Once known as General Motors Institute and GMI, Kettering University is the birthplace of Phi Eta Psi Fraternity-Beta Chapter, founded April 17, 1968 and featured in EBONY Magazine. Kettering University is a national leader in engineering and industrial education and alma mater to countless numbers of Phi Eta Psi Fraternity members. Kettering University has been the recipient of numerous accolades and awards. Kettering University is ranked 2nd in the “America’s Best Colleges” guide for Mechanical Engineering and again ranked in the Top 25 of all college engineering programs. In addition, Kettering University has held the perennial #1 ranking in Industrial /Manufacturing.

Phi Eta Psi is proud of its history and association with Kettering University. We salute 1979 Kettering/GMI graduate and Phi Eta Psi Fraternity member Dr. K. Joel Berry, who has taught at Kettering and led the Mechanical Engineering Dept. for the past 22 years. We take this occasion to celebrate all Phi Eta Psi members that are alumni of Kettering University/GMI.
