The Phi Alpha Epsilon Alumni Chapter in California which was established in 2015 participated in the 4th Annual Kirkland Academy for Excellence - Labor of Love Day Camp. The three week day camp program began June 13 - July 1, 2016 at Grant AME Church, Los Angeles, CA. Over 80 day campers participated in science experiments, arts & crafts, field trips, Urban Ballroom dance, and other fun activities. The Alumni Chapter's involvement began with a $300 check donation presented by Brother JabulaniN'Namdi to Day Camp Coordinators Lessie Thompson and Jackie Cochran on the first day of day camp.
