PHI ETA PSI 2016 LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE
The Grand Chapter and National Executive Officers of Phi Eta Psi are planning a Fraternity Leadership Conference to occur in August 2016. This communication is for your planning purposes. As you know there was no convention this year after the big celebration last year of our 50th Anniversary. Many things came out of our golden anniversary convention in 2015.
Three Committees were formed:
Many action items were developed from these committees who continue to meet via teleconference. Now it is time to meet face to face to execute and consentrate on the direction of our great brotherhood moving forward. We need brothers to participate. We are calling for all leaders to attend. This conference is especially for Fraternity Officers at both the National and Local level but we welcome all brothers who wish to participate in making leadership decisions about the future of Phi Eta Psi Fraternity, Inc. Topics to be discussed will include 2017 Convention planning, finances, the website, expansion plans, the concept of citywide chapters, nonprofit status and much more.
The plan is to meet face to face in Atlanta, Georgia the weekend of August 19th – August 21, 2016.
The logistical concept for this Leadership Conference is as follows:
Friday, 8/19/16 – Travel day to Atlanta, check into hotel
Saturday, 8/20/16 – Meet All Day to discuss Fraternity Business
Sunday 8/21/16 – Check out of hotel and Travel Home
Some social activity will be planned but the focus is the business of the Fraternity. More details are being developed to be communicated soon such as the venue and hotel.
